Go to the marketplace on Connect admin panel. Then find the Avans by Sorwe.
Choose which employees are eligible to request advances.
Input the name of the advance type.
Specify the currency.
Enter the installment count to be made for this advance type.
(For instance, if you set the installment count to 3, when an employee requests an advance, they can choose how many installments to repay with their upcoming salaries. Since 3 installments were specified, the employee can select 1, 2, or 3 installments. If the number of installments is left to 1, this option is not shown on the employee screens.),
You can add a new advance type with the Add option and delete it with the Delete button.
The employee's advance request will be submitted to the manager for approval.
You can enable a second approval level using the "Enable multi-level approval?" option. (For instance, this could involve HRBP. With this feature, the advance request will first be sent to the employee's manager and then forwarded to the designated individuals for further approval.)
Finally, Save.
Now, let’s take a look at how it appears from the employee's perspective.
Employees can access Avans from the Sorwe-hub on their homepage.
In this section, employees can view their previous advance requests. They can initiate a new request by clicking the button in the bottom right corner.
The manager screen will have a separate folder for approval in the app. They can approve or reject from here.
If 2-stage approval is enabled, once the employee's manager approves the request, an email is sent to the designated second approver. The approver can use the button in the email to access the panel and either approve or reject the request.
Click the Advance Request Reports button to view previous advance requests and any requests awaiting approval.
You can mark the status of approved advances as either paid or partially paid.
