🚀

1:1 Meetings are regular one-on-one sessions between employees and managers.

1:1 meetings can also be effectively used for various purposes, such as performance evaluations of new employees at specific intervals (e.g., 2, 4, 6 months), onboarding process evaluations, and 1-week feedback. This process is crucial for continuously monitoring employees' development and providing the necessary support in a timely manner.

With Sorwe’s brand-new 1:1 meeting feature, these sessions are now more organized and impactful than ever! ✨ You can share notes before meetings, track goals, and support your employees' development with constructive feedback. 🎉

Discover the power of 1:1 meetings for stronger teams and happier employees! 🚀

To create 1:1 Meetings, log in to the Connect Admin panel and click on the '1:1 Meeting' section under the 'Feedback' tab.

On the page that opens, click the 'Create Form Content' button to start setting up your 1:1 Meeting.

As the first step, you need to create a general form. Once the general form is created, you can add more specific form groups within it and assign them to employees.

  • When creating form content, set a Form Name that employees will see.

  • The text you enter in the Description field will not be visible to employees; you can use this area for your own notes in the Connect panel.

  • You can set this form to be recurring. For instance, it can automatically repeat on a quarterly basis or during specific periods you define.

  • You can also configure the form to be automatically sent to new hires in your company. When you select this option, a field will appear where you can specify a time frame. This determines how long after an employee starts the form will be sent to them. For example, you can set it to "send after 2 months."

  • Instead of setting it for new hires, you can filter based on the start date. For instance, you can select employees with more than 2 months of tenure. In this section, you can only use one filter option: either for new hires or by hire date and tenure.

  • The 'Employee Evaluation' option determines whether the form will be completed by the employee. When this toggle is enabled, the employee will first assess themselves.

  • Additionally, you can decide whether the employee can view the form if they have not completed their self-evaluation by using the option below. In this way, even if the employee does not evaluate themselves, they can see or may not see the evaluation form completed by their manager.

  • Finally, specify whether the form should also be completed by the manager, and save the form.

After creating your general form, you can edit or delete the template using the 'Options' option.

Now, click on the 'Meeting Forms' button to create the content of the form.

You can create multiple meeting forms.

  • The name and description you enter while creating the form content will not be visible to employees. Employees will only see the name you provided when creating the initial general form. Therefore, you can choose any name to distinguish the form.

  • In the pre-information text, you can create a message for those completing the form to read before filling it out.

  • You can select the Target Audience for the form. This selection can include all employees, specific groups, departments, or be based on corporate profiles.

  • You can add Meeting Agenda to the form that only the manager can see. These topics can be checked off by the manager to indicate they were discussed during the meeting. Here are three example topics we've added:

You can add various types of content to the form.

For example, you can group questions under specific sections by creating multiple sections, share texts by adding informational fields, or create a check list to track areas that need to be completed.

Let's briefly talk about the new fields in the form of content.

When you click the "Add Section Title" button, you can enter your heading.

Once the heading is created, you can select the fields you want to add under it.

For example, under this heading, I first add an informational field.

To ensure that only the manager can see the information, I enable the "For Managers Only" button.

The form content now looks like this:

I am adding a Check list. You can write the description and response options.

If you want to allow skipping without answering, you can enable the "Optional" option. Additionally, you can enable the "For Managers Only" option to make it visible only to the managers.

Finally, I am completing a section by adding rating question that can be answered by both the manager and the employee.

You can customize this section by adding any content you like. You can enrich the content by adding multiple sections.

Before creating the form, choose whether or not to add the employee's goals and progress during the meeting period to the manager's view.

Then, click the preview button to see how your form will appear.

Once your edits are complete, click the "Save" button.

The form you created will look like this.

Before publishing, you can make changes to the form content by clicking the "Edit" button.

To assign it to employees, click the "Start" button.

When you click "Start," a small window will appear where you can choose the assignment date.

Here, you can select a date for the form to be sent to employees. If you don't select a date, the form will be sent immediately.

Now, let's see how it appears for employees!

Employee: Maria Jones Manager: Celine Lee

1. Employee Screen: Maria Jones

First, let's look at the screen of the employee to be evaluated.

After logging into Sorwe, the employee can click on the "1:1 Meetings" section under the "My Company Interactions" heading on the homepage.

Under the "My Meeting Forms" tab, you can see the meeting form with your manager, Celine Lee.

This is the form where your evaluations will take place.

You can click on the meeting form to view or complete it.

After that, you can answer the form. At the end, provide your overall self-assessment and click the "Complete Meeting" button to finish.

2. Manager Screen: Celine Lee

After the employee completes their self-assessment, the manager can evaluate the employee from the same area.

However, this time, the manager will view the evaluation under the "My Team's Meeting Forms" tab.

The manager can view the answers the employee provided for themselves and then respond to the form, completing the evaluation.
